Projects
Home Assistant Server
Through setting up a Home Assistant server on a Raspberry Pi, I have learned a lot. First, I learned the basics of hardware by setting up and configuring a Raspberry Pi. Then, I dealt with operating systems and software by installing an operating system on the Raspberry Pi and installing and configuring software like Home Assistant on it. I also learned networking techniques by connecting the Raspberry Pi to the internet and configuring network settings to make the Home Assistant server accessible from anywhere. Finally, I dealt with automation and IoT by connecting various devices and services with Home Assistant and automating them. Additionally, I learned to configure various settings in the Home Assistant software using YAML, a human-readable data language.
Wordpress Website for Ju-Jutsu Club
By creating a website with WordPress and hosting it on Strato for my Ju-Jutsu club, I gained a lot of information. First, I learned the basics of WordPress, including installing and configuring themes and plugins. I also learned how to create and publish content, including text, images, and videos. In addition, by hosting the website on Strato, I gained valuable experience in web hosting. I learned how to choose a hosting package, register a domain, and configure DNS settings. I also learned how to secure the website and perform regular backups.
Personal Website
Embarking on the journey of building a personal website, I delved into the realms of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Crafting each element, styling it, and breathing life into JavaScript. The project took a leap forward as I uploaded it on GitHub, turning lines of code into a tangible, accessible entity. Using Cloudflare Pages for hosting, I ensured a seamless user experience, free from the hassles of server management. The final touch was buying my own domain, a unique identity in the vast digital world. This not only gave my website a professional look but also taught me about DNS and domain management. I learned not just about coding, but also about version control, hosting, and domain management. It was a journey from being a coder to becoming a full-stack developer.
